AUGUST 27TH-AUGUST 31

Reading-  "Rope Burn"  pgs. 26-39  Be sure to read the story each night.  Test will be on Thursday.

Vocabulary- humiliation, expectations, fringes, hesitating, sincere, coaxed
Be sure to study words nightly, and the test will be on Thursday.

Spelling-  Study words daily.  Homework for the week will be stapled and turned in on Friday.
Monday-Write the words 5x each.
Tuesday-  Use the words correctly in a  complete, detailed sentence.  Be sure to underline the spelling word.
Wednesday-Study
Thursday-Suppose your friend is afraid of something you are having to do in P.E.  Write a note to your friend that discusses the conflict, and suggest an action that may lead to a resolution.  Use at least 10 of your spelling words in the note.  Be sure to underline the word.

      Read and discuss pgs. 6-9, and answer questions 1-5 for classwork.
T- Lesson 2 pgs. 14-19
     Read and discuss pgs. 14-19, and answer questions 1-6 for classwork.
W- Lesson 3 pgs. 22-25
     Read and discuss pgs. 22-25, and answer questions 1-6 for classwork.
Th- Lesson 4  pgs. 28-31
     Read and discuss pgs. 28-31, and answer questions 1-6 for classwork.
F-  Complete Chapter 1 (open-book) test.
